FeCrCo Magnets
FeCrCo is a family of iron alloys which in addition to Iron is composed primarily of Chromium and Cobalt, hence acronym Fe-Cr-Co. FeCrCo magnet is produced either by casting to size or casting in the form of ingot which is then rolled, drawn, turned, or threaded, thus can manufacture micro, light, thin, and special shaped magnets. FeCrCo magnet is widely known for its ductility and machinability prior to the final heat treatment. Its magnetic properties can be enhanced in the preferred direction by applying the magnetic field during the heat treatment process. Cobalt has considerable impact on intrinsic coercivity and machinability of FeCrCo magnet. FeCrCo magnet also exhibits excellent maximum working temperature and corrosion resistance.
